Tips to take care of Contemporary Fabrics

Our contemporary fabric print collection features a variety of beautiful fabrics, including Inaya fabrics, it is a polyester fabric, beautifully made with a blend of two vibrant colour combinations, making it a stunning and eye-catching fabric. We also have brocade, it is made of Imitation Silk  and Embroidery. brocade is a self-designed floral fabric, characterised by its thickness and detailed texture, and is ideal for formal elegant gowns or suits. In addition to this our collection also has Bianca knitted fabric, bianca is a soft shiny and stretchable fabric and is available in many different colours, making it the perfect choice for creating dresses and fashionable tops.

So how do you take care of these fabrics?

Here are some tips for brocade fabrics:

  • Dry Clean Only: brocade fabric should be dry cleaned by a professional. Avoid washing the fabric at home as it may damage the delicate design and texture.
  • Do Not Bleach: brocade fabric should not be bleached. Bleaching can weaken the fibres and cause the colours to fade or become discoloured.
  • Iron on Low Heat: brocade fabric can be ironed on low heat. Use a pressing cloth to protect the delicate fibres and avoid applying too much pressure to the fabric.
  • Hang to Dry: brocade fabric should be hung to dry. Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric as it may damage the delicate fibres.

For Inaya fabrics:

  • Machine wash: polyester fabric is generally machine washable. Use a gentle cycle with cold or lukewarm water to help preserve the fabric's colour and prevent shrinkage.
  • Mild detergent: Use a mild detergent to avoid damaging the fabric . Avoid using bleach on Inaya, as it can cause colour fading & weaken the fabric over time.
  • Hang to dry: Inaya fabric should be hung to dry as it will help maintain the shape of the fabric or else it can lose its shape due to excessive heat, this will also prevent wrinkles and dry quicker.

For Bianca knitted fabrics:

  • Machine wash: A gentle or delicate cycle on your washing machine minimises the risk of excessive agitation that could stretch or damage bianca fabric.
  • Avoid Fabric Softeners: Fabric softeners contain chemicals that can break down the elastic fibres over time, resulting in reduced elasticity and increased wear.
  • Hang to dry: Inaya can wrinkle easily, so avoid excessive folding & Air dry by hanging or laying flat on a towel to maintain shape.
