Wash Instructions
General Instructions
- Mild machine washing or cool hand washing.
- Wash colors individually and avoid twisting or wringing.
- To prevent fading, spin dry on a cool setting or dry in the shade.
- Use the linen option on a warm or hot iron.
- A garment is subjected to lesser agitation while it is washed manually than it would be in a washing machine.
- The fabric and fibres will be damaged less if there is less agitation.
- For delicate materials like wool and silk, which have a propensity to be harmed and stretched out in the washing machine, washing them by hand is advised.
Β
COTTON & MORE
- The majority of manufacturers of 100% cotton clothing advise hand washing them in cold water with a light detergent.
- They will be able to maintain their excellent looks the longest thanks to this.
- White cotton can be washed up to 95 degrees Celsius, however coloured cotton should only be washed at 60 degrees Celsius, with the shortest rinse time and shortest spin cycle.
Β
SYNTHETIC
- High temperatures can cause synthetic textiles to shrink, but polyester doesnβt require a cold or delicate wash cycle.
- You should wash your polyester textiles at 40 degrees, as recommended.
- Polyester does not require a particular detergent, and adding fabric softener is optional.
Β
CONTEMPORARY FABRICS
- Pre-soak in a mixture of 14 cup fragrant water and cool water, wash on a delicate cycle, and hang dry.
- For drying, wrap the item in an absorbent towel, rub it dry, and afterwards hang it up to dry away from light and the sun.
- Never blow dry or iron because this will reduce the suppleness of the fabric.
Β
LACES & MORE
- The βhand washβ cycle of your machine should be used to wash the majority of lace products.
- Use a delicate wash bag and a moderate, cool wash cycle every time.
- Utilise a detergent designed for fragile materials.
- If you decide to wash the clothes by hand, take particular care not to rub the fabric.
